My boss is hitting on me. How do i handle the situation without feeling awkward afterwards?
I love my job and respect my boss alot. It came as a shock to me when he asked me to go on a trip with him and that we would be sharing the same suite. I am so disappointed. Help.

Let him know that while you appreciate the obvious risk he has taken to articulate his feelings, you do not feel interested in getting involved-- as one professional to another, he should know that that is his queue to back off. Now how to avoid the feelings of awkwardness is another matter. Sometimes you have feelings like this for a reason.
He has put you in an uncomfortable situation, not to mention creating a difficult working environment. If this does not work, your backup plan if this is a medium sized company or larger would be to go to Human Resources and report the issue.
However first I think it is most often best to try to deal with people you respect directly.

make some excuse like you have had horrible experiences dating at work and can't bring yourself to do that.
So i take it your not intreseted in him then. LOL. You just have to say NO! and continue with your job as you would everyday. He should understand that not all feelings are mutual. And besides, he's a manager! Eughhhh..The DARK SIDE!
Have a quite word if possible so as not to publicly embarrass either of you and explain that although you are flattered you are not interested in that sort of relationship with him, it is better to deal with it sooner rather then later.
