Depending on the field, it may be worth considering doing unpaid work experience for a few weeks, just to have something to put on your CV. The other option, of course, is to go for a job that doesn't require any experience at all!
Temping agencies can be fairly useful, but if you are looking for something in the secretarial field, they do make you do typing and other tests to ensure you're up to scratch. If you can't make 40 words per minute touch typing, they don't let you through.

It really depends what kind of job you're trying to get. A high profile job in busines, law, etc. will always require experience. But if you're just looking to earn a bit of cash you can easily be a waiter/waitress or a shop assistant, which doesn't usually require any experience.
It's actually quite a big problem for university graduates, and many have to work very hard -sometimes even unpaid- just to gain the experience that employers require.
the best way to get a job if you haven't got experience is connections. ask the people you know if they have a vacancy at work or if they know someone who is employing. if that doesn't work then try websites like monster.co.uk and go to your local job center. another way is to hand deliver your CV to local stores or businesses that you know are employing either by the signs outside the building or via the newspaper.

hi first you should figure out what it is that you like to do and then go for it. just git it done:)
apply for trainee positions, where they give you on the job training, or apply for a junior role and work your way up. The best thing to do is get yourself a decent CV, and apply to as many suitable positions as possible.

~ Look for a 'break'. A job that is somehow associated with what you want to do
~ (for example; sweeping up the hair - if you want to become a hairdresser)
~ and hope that from that, you can step up to gain experience in the job you are interested in.
~ The older you get, the worse it gets!

Apply for jobs, in the application forms there is an area to write why you should be considered for the job (or something along those lines). Blag your way, you are using a PC right now therefore you are experienced with PC's . get an office job. You speak to your friends and family? If so, you have communications skills etc . blag blag blag.

Volunteer to gain some experience then I hope you have Remedy Intelligent staffing in your area.They helped me find my first job. My resume is filled with temp jobs and I had one paid position which was filing from one of my former contacts that I met by volunteering. So, it helps if you have connections. anyway, I registered with OfficeTeam and they told me that the staffing managers couldn't help me because I had no experience except filing.
