Most advertisers use what is called 'cognitive psychology', which means how we percieve things, and that is the clever way in which advertising companies get us to buy things. basically, all advertising companies use congnitive and perceptual psychology in their advertising. So. yes, it is always a good idea to have a foundation of psychology, if you want to do well in advertising!!
