How do i get back at a boss?
My boss has just written me a bad reference as he wants me to stay, my other refs were very good so i may still get the job and he has just given me a passing shot so to speak. All i want to do is smash his face with a cricket bat as we see each other outside work quite alot socialy and i regarded him as a friend. Any ideas execpt violence as he is the type to go to the law? he is on holiday untill next monday so i have so time to plan but i am blinded by rage, help!

Well, I do know how you feel. My boss(es) are like that too. Two faced people are hard to get around in this world. It will come back to get him without you having to do anything. Be the bigger person and take a higher road then him. I would also go to him and let him know how I feel. I would let him know he is no longer friend but, foe. Explain to him why. I hope you got/get the new job. I totally feel for you, I am there now.

Take a deep breath and count to ten.You could ask him why he has written this kind of reference on you . Violence and rage amount to nothing !
cover his car or house in s**t. legally he cant give you a bad reference. hes a nob

Your boss also has his own boss. It is done everyday. Go over your bosses head to his boss and tell him whats going on and watch your boss get in trouble or fired.
With a temper and attitude like that, who in their right mind would EVER give you a good reference. You're a ticking time bomb who cannot control himself. Get yourself into therapy right away before you harm someone.
Fill out alot of mail order shots and send them through to him.you get the idea, how to speak Urdu, a subscription to train spotting monthly etc.
In the long run, not worth bothering about.accept and grow.alternatively good coat of Dulux on his car
When you get the job just laugh in his face and call him a T.w.a.t
it requires a lot of glue!
get all his books and glue each page shut. glue his desk draws shut. put porn on his computer. send fake emails from him to his friends and co-workers.
calm down. ask him what is his main motive. is there any special occasion o something to make u stay ?if there is u may consider but if no just let it be.. anyway it would not harm u if u just left. but find a chance to ask him face to face..
leave the job and pack it up and hit the highways hes got the upp er hand-- just leave forget this rambling onn and on will do you no good! if anyone finds this out you will be out of work no materr were you land--
quit when they need you the most.
Be Grateful your boss values you as an important part of his working force, you are an asset to him.
Ask him for a pay rise too,
break into hes house,find hes toothbrush and stick it up your a-hole and take a picture of it,then 2 months later send him the photo.

Problem you've got is you might come across him again in the future, e.g he might move to your new firm one day and be your boss again. My old boss was a c#nt so i raided his office and have got enough dirt on him to f him in the future if i ever need to. Always better to have information in reserve for when you really need it.

Do nothing now, work hard, make sure you get a BETTER POSITION than him. At that stage decide if it is worth doing something about his spitefull and childish attitude. If you do want to do something, you will be in a stronger position to do so.
Do you have access to his computer? delete a few important files.
If you have access to his keyboard just interchange the 'm' and 'n' keys
Send him a mail virus
Give him missed calls from public phone while he is on holiday.
Keep him insulting voice messages (Use you girlfriend for this)
Best would be if you could become his boss one day !!
Give his coffee mug and favourite pen a good rimming.
It is illegal for anyone to give a bad reference, so I suggest pointing that out to him and then take advice.
You have to be the bigger person, revenge is not the answer. Just forget about what he did, if it is for you, you will get the job. He does not hold your future in his hands. So forget about him. You have to be positive, and do the right things. and good things will always come back to you,

Wait until you have calmed down and calmly confront him. If he truly is your friend, maybe he contact the people in person and explain you are so valuable to him that he just didn't want to let you go. Try explaining no matter what he says, you are going to leave the company anyways but that if he agrees to try and make it right, he may be able to save the friendship. Good luck

make a anoyomus phone call to HR and say that he's been sexualy harrsing you?

put dog **** on his door handle to his car?
all the above are untraceable so you could do all of them!
and im pretty sure he cant by law give you a **** reference if you havent done anything wrong!
if you get the job then buy him some lovely fish and wedge it somewhere like underneath a drawer at their desk. i have a feeling it might be abit stinky after a couple of weeks
Don't do anything-remember, what goes around, comes around. You'll annoy him more in the long run if you don't react, and show exemplary behaviour in front of him. I'm sure you'll get the other job anyway, so please don't let him see that you're bothered. I'm sure he'll start sucking up to you shortly if you act cool. :)
