What do I do about next week?
I temp and an agency rang me with a job for next week yesterday. I still have not had the reporting details and each time I ring, they say they're on their way. How much longer do I wait? I can't believe that something like this could take so long. If you've any knowledge about agencies, please let me know. Thanks.

It's in their interest to get it you by close of business today (they won't get a finder's fee unless you turn up), so I'd ask them to specify a time.
how are they sending it? fax, e-mail? i'd keep bugging them all afternoon if i were you! it shouldn't take that long! if they say they've sent it, tell them to do it again!

Hang on until the day before, then let loose with phone calls. Just harass them until they give you details. It works for me.
I would call them and tell them to send them right away, if you do not get them while you are on the phone, check and make sure they have your email address right.
If everything is OK, go to the office and pick them up in person, while there make sure your account with the agency is correct and completely updated.
