How much is Import Tax for a $100 product from US?

Looking at buying a new $100 clock from the US, want to mail to either UK or Germany - does anyone know what the import tax would be, have asked seller who has no idea

Germany - US$ 16.00 - € 12.60 - £ 8.42
UKingdom - US$ 17.50 - € 13.77 - £ 9.21
Rough guess I'd say your looking at about £10 total taxes added on.

Theres the vat at 17.5 ofcourse and additional customs tax which is only a few percent but not sure exactly what.
