Attention to Insurance People! Signed order?
A Reinsurance broker asks for a signed order from the insurance company who refers to them, so they can place the insurance into the Reinsurers. Anybody have a sample format for that order sheet? PLEASE! (That's for my course work, so no risk) will give highest point :-p

it can be as simple as a typed request to issue the cover or it can be an email verifying the quote and then asking that the reinsurance be placed. each company will use, if any at all, their own form.
when an insurance carrier (company) requests a quotation for reinsurance before the reinsuror will issue the policy they must have a request to do so. this is typically called facultative re-insurance.
