I agree with the first poster that two heads are better than one, but also in a team there are more strengths and weaknesses and it is very beneficial to put everyones stengths together to make a more effecient unit. Teams can motivate eachother and keep higher standards because when you are part of a team you don't want to be the one holding everyone back so it makes you work harder and it also allows for a healthy amount of competition. Good luck with getting your job!
Two heads are better than one? I don't know.I like to have co-workers to share all my problems with, but that's probably not a great thing to put on a job application lol.
It is better to work in a team as all the team members can share each other's ideas concerning the topic. I do not recommend working alone as you will not be able to gather all the information at one go. Working in a team allows the members to think creatively and contribute to the team's performance.
okay, but what happens if you are the number 1 performer in your team, how can you benefit from that?
t
none, i avoid team jobs these days.
Maybe if you have the to ask the question you should also ask the question if you really are a teamworker yourself?
employers like to see experienced team players. it shows you can work with others and dont have some fat bulging ego.

Synergy
I work within a team and i can honestly say that if i didn't get on with my colleagues i couldn't work there.

Having a laugh and joke can totally ease your stress levels and also if you need advice on something they can help you.however you have to say that you work well as part of a team as well as on your own initiative..

Good luk mate!
You can benefit from each other's experiences, and the company benefits from the total experience of all team members.
You can delegate tasks to the most appropriate members, based on experience and ability.
If the team all work closely together, should one member be unavailable the other members can provide cover.
Any issues that arise can be discussed within the team to arrive at an appropriate solution.
The team members feel like they are part of the company, not isolated individuals.
Very very streessfull. The should be a health warning when they advertise for these jobs.
