How much does a typical first year analyst get paid in an investment bank; base salary, and bonuses?
ie how much is the base salary, the sign on bonus and year end bonus?

£40 to £45k. Bonuses depend on the firm - say £15 to £20k in year one obviously dependent on performance.
I would think those that graduate from the LSE with a 1st class degree at undergrad level would be looking at about £25,000 but this would go up quite fast and steeply in The City.
