this is not a free number and may even cost you up to 10p a minute (or more if it is a scam line which works by charging you a premium rate to use their helpline). call your operator and ask them to check how much a call to this number would cost for you.

as they are calling you over & over just wait for them to call you again. if you are still curious type the whole 0845 number into a google search.
If they have rung 30 times I wouldn't bother it will be someone selling something and you wont be able to understand what they're saying. And yes you will be charged.
0845 numbers are normally charged at local rate but becarful there are scams about wait for them to ring back again
i'd ignore it its probably a company trying to sell you something or offering you a deal that is too good to be true
Its a sales call I expect don't both to ring it back and wont cost anything. If you go to Tele-preference they will control sales calls but they can stop them totally
most 0845 numbers are buisness numbers and they get your number and name from the phone book so i wouldn't bother ringing them back, they will continue ringing you until they have had a responce as once your number has been rung and answered it gets crossed off on there database and so if you dont answer your number remains on there database until it can be crossed off. I worked in telesales!
If i were you i wouldn't phone it back anymore as often these can be a scam to get you to call it back and you're charged a huge amount of money. Report it to BT as this is total unreasonable harrassment. They can monitor calls and investigate it for you.
1471 costs when you use call back.
Block it if you can but don't ever ring them back - I know of one that will cost you £15 (about $19) just to answer,if you listen it could be costing anything a minute - you will never get the money back, they close down and open in another name and place or country;they rely on our instict or manners to rob us of cash-look at these site's for the truth about all those con's.

Hi,it will be sales people do not waste your money ringing them back.I mainly get calls with number with held. When I answer I tell them politely not interested & hang phone up.If they persist I tell them I will report them to police sometimes they take notice
or they get some one else to call. There should be a law against them pestering people,im ex directory & they still managed to get my number.
0845 mumbers are companys trying to sell somthing
ingnor it hopefully they will get fed up and stop ringing you.
if they keep hasleing you tell bt to put a trace on the line and they will block the number
Good luck
need to pay. get a block put on your phone
I would not phone any numbers back unless you know them.I have seen a program about a new type of scam where they use some sort of software and it shows up on your phone as a 0845,0870 or even a 0800 number, but when you call it back, its actually connecting to a premium rate number costing anything upto £1.50 a minute. They purposely either hang up as you answer or only let it ring a short time..beware
I recommend that place your number in the Do Not Call list.
After that in about a month or so Telemarketers should not bother you any longer.
Word of advice if you do not recognize the number do not call it back. It could wind up costing quite a bit..
I've been getting quite a few on my landline just recently, and I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service.

I Usually ask them for the callers full name, the companys full name and address and telephone number. Then the callers home addess and telephone number. I say I will not answer any of their questions until they provide all the infomation I requested.

If I get all the infomation I then say I do not give personal infomation to strangers and hang up.

The callers do not want to give any infomation, and if they do I pass it on to the Telephone Preference Service.
Phoning an 0845 is charged at the local rate. You seem to have been phoned by a telemarketing phone dialer. An automated phone dialer will dial the phone numbers it has been given. Once someone answers, the phone dialer will transfer the phone to a telemarketer to speak to you. If you don't know answer, some will keep ringing back for a period of time (the time period being programmed into the phone dialer).
