Instead of rejecting them as have not worked in a while thinking something is wrong or lasy.
Er no its as you empoyers wont give them a job as the last one did not.

Lack of motivation shows when you have no previous employment. At least be a volunteer or something. It's understandable when you are a student to have no experience and not have a previous history. But as an adult, you need to be doing something or you pretty much are LAZY.
It is common sense, do you employ someone who has become used to sitting infront the tv all day watching repeats of Trisha and Jerry Springer.
Or do you employ someone who has worked 9-5 every day since they left school
It also encourages people to get a job
I can understand where you are coming from. Is a question of Chicken or egg first question. How can one expect to have experience should he not has a job at the start. I'm not disagreeing to you, however, i think one should have a good and strong reasons as to support why he haven't been working in ages. could it be becasue of certain factors.
Probably because it would take them too long to retrain the person at their expense. I agree that those people should be given a chance, but I think it is something that would have to be motivated by the government. If you were an employer in business to make money, you would employ the best.
