Types of entry level jobs?

Difficult question to answer without knowing more about what direction you want to take in your career?
I do agree with the one answer that help desks are a good place to start, but even if you find one in your area, many of the companies doing them are still out-sourced. It may be better to try to find a job in a company you would like to work for, (like Mail room, shipping, packaging - as in Factory work). Then once in the company, move into an area you prefer more..
It depends what you want to do. If you don't know helpdesks are a good start if you can find one in the UK.
that would depend on your age, experience and which direction you want to go. Connexions can help you all round.
Monster , Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder are some of the largest job boards, where you can apply for jobs and upload your resume. Since Craigslist, allows free job postings, many smaller companies post their vacancies on this online classifieds website. You can also search for jobs from multiple websites using aggregators like SimplyHired and Indeed. Referrals are also becoming a increasingly popular way to get hired.
