Does anyone know how many miles of elelctricity pylons there are?

How long did it take to put up the pylons, and why is it in some parts of the country, you can see miles and miles of them and in other parts you cant.

nope but it's a lot . not that long to put them up just get some navvies and off you go. you see lots of them from power stations to a distribution sub-station then it's all underground cables. usually you see them out in the country as they need to get the electrickery from the out of the way stations to the cities where all the users are
well if theres lots of pylons ur probably near a power station
