Business plans need to be thorough and specific. You need to write down what exactly you are trying to achieve, and how are you going to get there - in detail. Are you going to get a loan, if yes, how will you pay it back,what actions you'll take which will justify what you are trying to get at. Will you recruit staff - when, how much, where is the money coming from. Time span. The business plan needs to have 2 sections - your immediate plans and long term intentions.
What you spent on everything the year before. (I mean everything from supplies to utilities.) What expenses you plan to occur in addition to this. For example, are gas prices rising? If so, you need to add a little extra to last year's amount you used. Most business plans have a monthly breakdown. Are you adding more technology? Add that in. If you don't budget for it, you'll have a harder time getting your proposal for adding new technology approved when the time comes.
