Starting in Business as a Loan Broker?

I would like to start a loan broking business in the UK. I have not done this sort of work before but I have a lot of experience in financial services so I hope to be able to learn quickly.

Can anyone please give me some advice on how to go about starting such a business - how to find lenders etc

I'm also looking into this. So far I have found out that you need a consumer credit license that costs 100. and a data protection license. I have approached 2 other brokers that are offering me in the region of #20 for each lead I provide them with. You can make your money off the potential customers by asking them for a brokres fee but you have to repay them within 6 mths. if you cant put them with a suitable lender. If you have any knowledge or tips I would be grateful to hear from you
