How do you remove a black mark on your credit reference ??

Some time ago my wife took out a loan , which due to finacial difficulties she has now defaulted on , this has been sorted through a consolidation process and is now paying these debts off . Recently I have found that because I stood guarantor on a loan I have also been blacklisted by her bank , and now unable to recieve credit in my own right ,although the debt consolidation company reassured us that I would not be affected , how do I clear my name from this blacklist !!

with a rubber.
you can write to experian after a certain time and ask them very nicely to remove it, or offer the company in question bigger payments in return for them removing your black mark from the list. They can do this and often will for more of the cash.
Speak to the bank their is a way where you can pay off the money owed to clear your name.
Don't try to do this - don't get involved with the credit reference agencies. start your credit rating up again by getting one of the easier to obtain credit cards like a Monument or a Capital One cards.. start of with a low amount of credit and build it up gradually. after a year or 3 ..the black mark may vanish .
Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i. and get a copy of your report for the 3 agencies. If you find something wring, write a letter to that agency with you explanation. By law, they have to post your explanation next to the item.
HOPE YOU GOT IT IN WRITING OR YOU ARE WHACKED .
start behaving and not live like a chav
