Well because i work for Lasalle Bank i can suggest that u contact a banker and hear at Lasalle in cases of fraudulent transaction occurring we would filed an investigation on that transaction, and if it shows that it was done without the customer authorization then the funds would be credited back to the account. I'm not understanding the full ? so i hope that answered you're ? and good luck.
Daily Mail financial section website has a form you can download.
If they reject your claim, take them on and take them to the small claims court. I've claimed charges back for several people. They have no justification for these charges which are not related to the cost of providing the service.
As previous respondent has already mentioned the Daily Mail financial pages website will give you all the ammo you'll need.
Some time ago I had the same problem (I was overdrawn for just 2 days) i was charged £25.00. I was livid, so I phoned the head office and told them that if they did not repay me I would take my business elsewhere, I had been banking with them for years. They did repay me on that day. Anyway I don't bank with them now and find HSBC much much better by far

Pay the last bill with a check and write on the check in full and final payment account closed. and go and open a new account with another bank, I have had the same problem with Barclay's and Nat West.
Every time I use the lavatory I say "I will just make a deposit in Barclay's". It makes me feel a lot less ripped off.
i know someone who has just claimed back £1220 back in charges from hsbc. all they did was write to the bank stating all charges they had paid over the last 6 years and asking if they could have the charges paid back or they would take them to court for it. within a couple of weeks they had money returned into bank account. Lloyds tsb are apparently a bit harder to crack so they are now taking them to court, but its like they said if one bank has already given in theres got to be some sort of legal entitlement to claim it back cos no bank is gonna give away £1220 if they dont have to!
usually they charge for overdrawn accounts if your account is not OD then i would change my bank but check the charges and conditions first.
change bank..
Inform them of your claim for reimbusement. Over draw your account and then close it. Inform them that settles your claim. Then they have to chase you.
