I keep asking my employer for a contract and I never get one even though I get told they're doing one.?
I have worked for them for over a year, full time.

If this concerns you, I would look for a better or comparable position somewhere else as an alternative. Your employer might be "stringing you along" by promising something that they have no intention of giving you. If you do get a better offer and decide to go with it, don't be surprised if you are then offered a contract by your current employer. It's funny how it often works that way!
What is your question?
keep at them you will get one eventually
What kind of work do you do that requires a contract?
Give them a deadline. Tuesday moring September 04 at noon, or whatever. If not take a serious hard look at the why not, then it's time to take some one out for lunch over a serious contract discussion!.
Well obviously working without the contract you don't get the guarantees. I would seriously set a deadline. Let them know.
I had the same problem, don't stop getting on to the human resources department and your manager. you should idealy have a contract but this hardleys happens straight away. just pester them and it will finally work. i've just got mine through this morning after working for my employer for nearly a year, and the wordings wrong on it!!
I personally have "never" heard of a "contract" between an "employee" and employer, except, with Executives.
Sorry, have no idea about your situation.
As for status, there's no doubt that you have no guarantees without one.
How do I get to the next level?
Does anyone know how I can get the PEP back in my STEP?
what is income NET?
can you change your credit file?
debt managment companies?
What would you buy if money could buy anything?
'most errors supposedly made by computers are really human errors'. Give your opinion.?
Should we get inheritance tax banned. Isn't just a tax on being dead.?
Please tell me more about marketing strategies and sellings?
