"What color is my parachute? 2006".
It has been published annually for many years now and has sold millions. It is an American careers advice book, but its advice, including addresses for further advice, is worldwide.
Set aside at least a weekend to work through this book.
You will find that the first thing any careers adviser will do is ask you to think about what your values are and what you want out of life in general, before you start thinking about a job.
You need to free up your thoughts to think about career options you may not even have thought of. This is an important reason why you need a book like the one I have suggested that has self-help exercises.
If after such self-examination you find that you want to go back to study, remember that many full-time courses start in the Autumn.. And as you certainly should not sign up on the spur of the moment, this means that you need to start thinking what you are going to do pretty immediately.
There are consultancies that offer private careers advice: as an occupational psychology graduate I suppose I ought to suggest you go to one. However, they are expensive. They also tend to give you psychological tests and questionnaires rather than offer experience about the job market.
Sadly, in the United Kingdom at any rate there is a lack of adequate careers advice in the public sector for people in your position. The trouble is that Job Centres are pressurised to place people as quickly as possible, whereas a career change that will bring long-term success essentially requires that you choose the right move even if this means waiting.
Talk to your friends and relatives about your career thoughts. They are the people who know you best, and they may be able to suggest opportunities. Think whether you want to let your employer know you are restless. If you have been working in a large organisation they might have jobs you can apply for internally, or even be prepared to sponsor you to get an additional qualification.

If you aren't happy with what you're doing, figure out where your interests are and do something related.

these are all jobs you could apply for.cause without describing your current position and what interests you have i can only speculate as to what might be good for you.
medical, we are so understaffed in this field, there is always a need.
go to a career advisor. do some testing to find out exactly what you are interested in. if you are going to invest in schooling you want to be sure it is in an area you are interested inn/ have some skills in.
there are also areas that have more demand than others. for example, in alberta you are pretty much guarenteed a job if you have a trade. however, not everyone wants a trade. like me. this is where your job values come in. you also need to explore this area. what is more important to you?
Retire
Just get anything that is close to home and has set hours, so you will have more of a social life. No job is great.
