If you have got a letter a4 size do you still have to pay more for to post it?
Answers:
In the USA, you can mail anything up to 6.125 X 11.5 and weighing no more than one ounce for $0.39. Larger or heavier will cost more. There is also a surcharge for square pieces.
yep. use an envelope half the size and the cost will be reduced by about 70p!
edit i was thinking of a packet at that price!! sorry!!
I believe so. It's classed as a large letter and will cost between 37 and 44 pence to post it, more if the wieght is more than 100g.
I sent about 4 sheets of A4 in an A4 envelope yesterday. The usual cost would have just been a first class stamp (due to weight), now it's 44p due to size.
Yes, fold it in half - and pay the lower rate and it'll fit in the post box easier.
That is an ingenious answer - must be a top answer and well worth the 10 points. Origami !
yes it is about 12p more and yet it does not weigh and more than a letter in a smaller envelope that has more pages
