How do i post to rep of ireland. proper amswers please?

do i need a special envolope

Answers:
If you're posting from the UK to the Rep. of Ireland you pay 44p up to 20g then 64p or 68p up to 40g. I assume these weights would be alright if you are just sending a letter. It will go airmail as the poeple above have told you.
No you don't need a special envelope either. The new pricing by size system came in today but this will not affect 'overseas' mail.
Hope this helps!
Errrrrr no. Go to your post office, give them your letter, tell them its going to the Republic of Ireland, pay airmail fee and you're done. Easy.
No why would you need a special envelope, go to post office and pay for airmail.. DONE!
no u just need to take it to the post office instead of a post box
Put whatever your posting in an envelope and take it to the nearest post office, they'll weigh it and tell you how much, i don't think you need a special envelope, if you do they'll tell you !
you don't need a special envelope, i live in the north of ireland and used to write to people in the south all the time and i just used a normal envelope and the normal first class stamp, but just get the post office to check what it costs now!!
