Has money got any real value?

Money makes the world go round. Has money affected your life?
Would you like to be rich beyond your wildest dreams or would it become boring after you have everything you ever wanted?

Answers:
This is something I've thought about myself before when wondering (as most of us do) what it would be like to win the lottery.

At first it seems like such a good idea with no financial worries and the ability to pay for anything we wanted. But, then I start to think about how your family and friends would feel once they saw you quit your job whilst they still have to go and would that affect your'e relationships I start to wonder how much money would be too much to have?

It could eventually drive a wedge between you because of the difference in lifestyles. Then you think about who would you give money to and how much. Would you give people enough to pay off their mortgage but have to continue to work? I don't know if I could do that. And then you see on the local news about a factory closing with the loss of 50 jobs and you know that an investment of half a million could keep tham afloat for a while longer and hopefully help them survive permanently. Could you sit and act like it's nothing to do with you when it could be a really small amount for you to donate out of your millions?

Eventually I always come to the conclusion that it would probably bring me nothing but trouble and maybe a modest win to help finance my life without problems the way it is now would be nice but I wouldn't want any more than that.
you know, the more money I have, the more I want more!
Nah dude, its just paper the more
Youve got the more the grief it
causes, health much better ..
Money can't give you everything you ever wanted - but it sure helps!
Money has the value others assign an impose on you. One's goal should be to get as close to putting themselves on the otherside of any possible money problems, and that doesn't mean getting filthy rich, just that you have enough to cover expenses and enough to play with. That way you can go to Maui AND afford the parsailing, lua, and decent hotel on Ka'anapoli Beach.. (sigh!)
Money gives you choices.
If you think money is useless just throw it away and see just how long your conviction lasts
nah i'd rather be without and be happy
though gotta add it dont matter how much money u earn u always live to yr limit skint u shop at morissons buy better buy run a dirt cheap car rich shop at sainsburys drive a jag so u never have money either way
i've lived well off and believe me yr still skint as the lifestyle u have makes u that way i'm richer now than i was then
no value at all so send it to me and ill get rid of it for you
Money itself has little or no value but it's what money can get you that's the real value.
