they have ridiculously high interest charges on their cards and loans too.
Get yourself a Nationwide Building Society account and there are no charges when drawing money out abroad unlike everyone else.

We are with HSBC if you are with them for a while before going abroad they are great! we have just taken money out aboard and have got a really good rate and not been charged for it! Better htan what we could have got before going out!

nationwide is the only one i know the dont charge i just come back from the usa and they havent charged me.
