Is there anyone who you can complain to if pension credit service are too slow with your claim.?

A friend of mine applied for pension credit 9 weeks ago and has so far still not had a decision as to if it will be awarded or not despite being on a low pension and being advised by housing benefit to apply for pension credit. He has phoned several time to speak to someone but has each time been told that its being dealt with and he should hear something soon. He is now desperately short of money and at 65 years of age having worked all his life, I feel that he should not be treated this way. Is there anyone else that he can talk to in order to get this claim speeded up?

See if your local MP will help,I was kept waiting for 3 months but fortunately I had a little saved up which helped me.
I think most of the staff sit on their butts all day drinking coffee.
Tell your friend to keep pestering them
it took me 7 weeks to get mine, it does come back dated , but i know where you re coming from, just keep pestering them,basically they don't give a shitte Government again
