Can i get a small business loan to help start up my company?

i live in the uk, any advice is really helpful.

Yes you can but the interest rate may be above the average and you will need a business plan, cash flow projections etc.

You need to be able to prove to the lender that he will get his money back. You may also have to put up a guarantee (either get someone to underwrite the loan or put up something valuable to guarantee it - like your house).
