Have an unpaved account who've now put their lawyers down my throat, not able to pay my account..?
Whats the worst they can do to me?
Answers:
Usually, if the debt was origionaly a credit agreement, they will register a default notice that will effect your credit file than "sell" the debt to a collection agent. if this happens call the agent immediatly and make an offer, however small, thay are likely to accept this. If it is an unpaid bill, gas, electric ext then they will issue a CCJ. This goes through the court, it is advised that you pay immediatly.
If in either case you still do not pay, they may instruct bailifts to collect goods from your home. Or they may apply for an attachment of earnings, in which case thay will take the money directly from your wage, benifit, before you even get it.
The worst case is if its secured, they have the ability just to reposses what ever is financed.
That depends on the try of debt that you are in; we need more information.
they can send the bailiffs around and sieze your goods to pay for the debt.I don't think u can go to prison ..but speak to the citizens advice bureau
unpaved account??.sounds like a cobbled job.
The worst you can do is to ignore them. Call them and tell them you are struggling. They can probably assist you. Be honest with them. Otherwise you might want to check with your local CAB (Citizens Advice Bureau) on your options.
they can take you to court and then once they get a court order they can garnish your wages- your best bet is to contact them about a payment arrangement and make sure you don't skip a payment or they will get the court order and garnish your wages. when they garnish your wages- they usually take more than you can afford- they figure it based on your income and how much the bill happens to be.

if it all gets nasty, take yourself to court
declare in court your debts, tell the judge that you cant pay them
and tell him the max you can afford each month
You will then have a court decision, about the max they can take you for per month, its not bankruptcy even.
Take you to court, register a ccj against you, get bailiffs to come and recover your goods to sell, keep harrasing you, and the list goes on.
