Good ones are usually don't have a problem finding a job.
A friend of mine, in Chicago, got hired in at about $45K per year our of college in 1999, but she was top 10% of the graduating college class. She got her CPA and 7 years later is around $75-80K. This should continue to go up with experience.
Chicago is a relatively expensive place to live, so this will vary depending on the market.
