What does being a stockbroker entail? And can you earn lots of money?
i'm thinking about job prospects
Answers:
A stock broker is basically a salesman, they sell "stock" in other people's companies etc. and yes you can earn lots of money.
But. you'll need a good degree, the capacity for maths, lots of hard work and a good understanding of finance and financial markets if you want to get a job as a stockbroker.
Unless.. you want to work for an overseas boiler room flogging dodgy rubbish to OAPs - they're always recruiting but don't expect to get treated any better than your clients.
From personal knowledge, it seems to be a make or break profession.for people who enjoy takin risks, playin with other peoples money. Most likely not advised for those with high blood pressure .
