What is the upper limit to the size of an advertising billboard.?
Ive' seen a gigantic one on the M6 at Birmingham I don't know it's dimensions.
Would it be possible to erect one 1000 feet long by 150 feet high?

You may have to ask for planning permission for a very large advertising hoarding/billboard. You will need to check that with the Council planning department Apart from that, all you need is the space! The sky's the limit (and money!) when it comes to advert sizes!
(If you think about it, what size are the ones on the side of blocks of flats or cooling towers that they are about to knock down!)

If you are planning to erect it in Las Vegas, your size may even be too small!!
Think about draping something off the side of a very large building. You can get some very dramatic effects that way.
