Has anybody ever fallen for a scam?
Dont be ashamed to reply cos some of these fraudsters can be very good at what they do. And what was the reason you fell for it?
Answers:
No, No one has ever fallen for a scam.. thats why they dont exist.
just about ever one has. they talk to sweet.
Some people are looking for a bargain or a good opportunity. I answered an ad for a job and it wasn't what they claimed.
I did, it was one of those work from home, i paid 99 dollars to begin and i didn't understand what was going on so i went to the link that you can contact someone and it was a false e-mail address. so i wrote a very mean and threating letter to pay pall and to an email to the site that did work saying i was going to get my legal friends and sue and do what ever i had to do to make their life hell. Yeah , they sent me an email stating i was being given a full refund.
I almost fell for the Quixtar scam. They wanted me to pay a $200 fee for starting, and that's when i started to get skeptical.
I have not fallen for a scam..as I am too into reading all the small print, and checking out the history and background on anything before I will sign my name to it!!
But I can see how many people do..as they sound so plausible in the things they say, testimonies etc. but usually if it sounds too good to be true..it will be!!
You should always check, and double check the things you are told, and sign up to nothing without having a valid land-line number, address, and contact name. as well as an e-mail address. and be able to 'Prove' the claims being made: before you spend your hard earned cash!!
In other words. DO YOUR HOME WORK!!
