Do you have to pay for quality?

Do you pay more for quality or can you get good quality cheap?

Answers:
WELL ONCE IN AHWILE YOU CAN FIND A GOOD DEAL ON QUALITY, LOOK FOR THINGS ON SALE
Depends what you are buying
you never get more than you pay for, but you can pay more than you get
If you want quality, you must pay for it. If you buy cheap, that is exactly what you will get. It's like a diamond with no flaws or a diamond with a piece of black coal in the middle of it, Take your choice.
Quality means something has been made to a high spec - this normally takes time and a little more effort - so I think in any market place if its quality you are looking for it should come at a higher price.
OK, I agree with most of the responses here but I think people sometimes forget we live in a "Global Marketplace" which means that if you want to hunt for something elsewhere in the world you can often buy very high quality for very little money in comparison to how much something would cost in your own country.

For example I bought a chess set in Poland that would have cost £30/40 in the UK for £2! And my friend bought a chess set that would have set you back £300-400 for around £30. And yes they were excellent quality hand carved sets, so you can get good quality cheap if you know where to look.
yes
You can get quality stuff but cheaper. YOu have to know where you buy it from though. If you went to a 5 star hotel and order a chicken curry it will cost you at least 2-3 time more than you could get from the next door family shop. So its about looking and buying wisely. and doing a lots of research and talk to friends and family and now internet, forum etc. You can these days get direct on line offa manufacturers and cut down the middleman. You can also try buying things that can be bought and used second hand goods like cars. I will never ever buy a brand new car, but I do buy and drive that top of the range car a year or two old and save more than half of the price had I purchased it new. I also found out that ebay for example you can get quality stuff even sometimes brand new stuff for a fraction of the price. So go bargain hunting and do some research dont be impulsive and impatient.
