Started a new business and need to advertise but have no money.?

The business is events planning and management from wedding to conferences. I need to advertise for the south of england and would like to do it on the web. I have searched on the web for free websites but have been blinded by the sheer amount. I do not want to sign up for all of them or one that fleeces me in some way. How do i know which ones will get the results?
If anyone has advertised for free and got results plase can you tell me where you did it?

The first rule of business is that it takes money to make money.

Do what you can with mouth to mouth advertising until you can afford to advertise properly.
You can find some homeless people and paint your company's logo on their foreheads whilst they sleep. You only need chip in for paint and the homeless wander around all day anyway.
Yeah I agree Larry. If you type in a search for free advertisers you will get a lot of crap.

It is absurd to start a business without capital.

There are plenty of free ways to generate traffic, but generating quality traffic is an entirely different matter. The latter cannot really be done.

You have two real choices - banner exchanges and search engine optimization.
If you are going to be lazy about it.. forget about it. The outcome of your business is going to be directly proportionate to the effort you put into it. If you wish to succeed then you must first learn how to market on the internet. To do that click the link below.
