Anyone a nurse? or male nurse?
How can i become a male nurse? ive got a health care certificate, also doing a course in Human Biology, but got no expierience, ime in North Staffs who do i apply to? ive checked online without any success.

I would do some voluntary work at your local hospital to get a feel of the culture of the hospital. Ask lots of questions from the Nursing team - how did they start, what are the positives of the job etc.
Look at the department of health Website re current targets / health improvement strategies etc.
You will be invited to interview if you have experience and are enthusiastic!
The job is good - you never stop learning and the career prospects are great.

Look at RN (Registered Nurse) programs at colleges near you. Associate degree RN programs are available at many community colleges. After graduation you will have to take the registration exams.

It requires 12 - 18 months in a trade, vocational and JC to qualify to take the LVN test.
My Uncle was originally an oderly at a NYC hospital and then they elevated him to a group theapy leader, but they still had to pay him orderly wages. They told him to get a degree and they could increase his pay. They even helped pay for college. He got his AA and his salary doubled, but his job was basically the same!
In a hospital you can do almost anything they let you do under supervision withouth creditials. Exceptons are pulling and dispensing medicine. Only Paramcists, RNs, MDs, Doctor's Assistants can do that.
U cud jus apply thru UCAS or NMAS to study nursing in uni. A degree or diploma. Its is kina late now like. But u will got thru clearance. And there usually are alot of spaces for nursin students depending on wat field ur doin like. But jus go thru one of those applications forms. U cud fill them online aswell.Betta late than never. Gud luck.
im a nurse you could get job as hca at a hospital and get seconded or apply to uni seconded you get paid more to do it but if you go other route do diploma get twice as much money for same work good luck
