Does anyone know if you can remortgage when you have a charge on your deeds?

Answers:
All property with mortgages have charges - if you are saying you have a second charge on the house, yes you can remortgage but it may be a condition that you settle the second charge. Need any help e mail me. Good Luck
of course, but you have to settle the charge if you are changing your mortgage lender.
subject to the appropriate charge on your deeds you should be able to refinance and pay them out, if your LVR is right you might even be able to go to an unconventional lender and pull some more equity
I agree with all your previous answerers - they seem to know what they are talking about - good luck!@
Yes you can,but as your first respondent said you have to clear the other charges or take a second mortgage with the appropiate charge agaist the property.
