How do I check that a PR Agency is the right fit for my charity?
Our Charity is just starting and we are meeting a bunch of young people from a very young agency. How can I make sure they are the right agency and will deliver the service I need?
Answers:
Apparently your are going to have a spec.
Have they been recommended to you by previous clients of theirs? If yes, how did their cooperation work? If not, ask them to show you previous work they have performed for similar services. If they are a brand new group, see if you can communicate well with them, if you see into all matters eye to eye.
After all, you will definately sign a very detailed contract between the two parties, specifying the exact nature of the work to be done, its description, all costs included with detailed breakdown, i.e. what is the cost for purchasing material, what is their fee, what are the taxes and what taxes a.s.o. as well as time and way of delivery.
I hope I have been of help, but do not hesitate to contact me if you need further advice. I am doing almost the same here.
Good luck!
Meet the agency and talk to the owners and find about their mission and objectives and how much more would they do for a charity.
Also see if they have an ethical standpoint and if they have done work for charities before which will help alot.
Good Luck
