How do i clear bad debts that are now cleared on my credit score?

If this is in the UK then go to your local County Court and you get a form to say that the debt is settled and satisfied (it used to cost a Pound, but that will be more nowadays) and then it is registered and after two years it is removed from all records.
At least that's how it used to work. Good luck!

maybe you shouldnt run them up in the first place

In the UK to do either of these you go to Experian
pay it off or transfer to a 0% credit card
