How could I build up a deposit for a house in less than 4 months?

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!.. I have only just got out of debt to find my partner and I are having a baby..(which we are both really excited about)

Problem is, I need to try and accumulate as much capital as possible as quickly as possible in order to provide a stable environment for little one, as I say I have no savings behind me, and there are only a finite number of hours in the week in which to earn money. I know I should have been better prepared, but can anyone give some advice??

Answers:
Just have moderation in everything you do. Don't eat out, forgo movies and other entertainment you have to pay for, have a yard sale of your unwanted things, I knew a lady once who made $500 on a yard sale. You'll have to get creative to save money on entertainment, but many communites have free concerts, or you can go for a walk in the part. If it's possible, you and your partner can get a second, part-time job. Or go to a temp agency and take some extra jobs that way. Good Luck.

P.S.- I know you want a house, just don't get in over your head and start of your new life back in debt.
that's one of the best begging letters i've ever heard !
win the lottery. If you know an accountant who you trust ask them the fastest way. Mutual funds, or treasury bonds are the only two I can think of, good luck and congrats.
try taking another loan and do it.

There is so many people that offers you a bond on home loans why dont you shop a round and ask because some home loan people includes your deposit into your payment a month.
