Try www.espc.com it has the most concise list of flats available to rent in Edinburgh, or Grant Management, though I'm afraid I'm not sure of their web address- they'll be easy to find on Google though.
dont go there it is a tip and a rip off to live in.
There are lots of people who are private landlords in Edinburgh and you can find a good selection of properties for rent in the Scotsman or Evening News every day.
