Are all the people who work in McDonalds unmployable in any other job?

Answers:
LMAO! By the look of some of them it would be amazing if they could walk and chew at the same time, let alone work!
I think it's where everyone goes if they can't find a job lol but at least it is a job.
Not all, but many, perhaps. Some people simply do not posess the mental capacity or the resources to educate themselves sufficiently enough to get a better job. Some people, however, work there simply because it is easy, and because they are lazy. I do not think it is fair to make a stereotype that all of them are like this, but I would say there is a trend.
I don't think so. Most of them are teenagers who don't have much experience and its their first job.
****, (the mind numbed morons will get ya a lotta flack, man..) Didn't ya know that's the 'American job' or the way all the high school kiddies break into the job market, man?? (I never did.. I always wanted to work at Taco Bell tho.) They're all kids.. and **** yeah, I've seen the morons at the counter as you pointed out.. hell, it's nice they've got some place for 'em to go, don't ya think? sure!
I don't think they're ALL unemployable, anyone working there for a while might be though

retail can be an incredibly mind numbing and soul sucking experiance, especialy in big chains and the fast food food industry
Hell no, fast food workers are very employable. Working fast food is a fast paced stressful job. Its so much harder and stressful than most jobs out there today. Its just hard for a young person to get a job somewhere else right away.
No. Absolutely not.

All the people who work in McDonald's are not unemployable in any other job. Many successful people got their start at McDonald's and a job there can be a stepping stone to a successful career within the company or just about anywhere.

You're being silly.
they are zombies.

non English speaking zombies.
Many of them work there because they are in school and McDonalds will allow them to work irregular hours to accomodate their school schedule or they are moms who want to earn a little money while their children are in school. There are also retired people who don't want to sit at home.
it is a first job. it lets people who have never worked before get their feet wet. no stress. are you some body? no you are not. why don't you get a executive level position or pass the CPA exam? you will change your attitude and never ask this question again. you will thank me later for the advice.
That is not true. I was at the McDonald's website and reading about some of the people who are high up in the company, and I found out that one woman who is in charge of the McDonald's in 26 states started out as a crew member. My daughter worked for Hardees for a few years, and they wanted her to train to be a manager so many times, but now she is grown up with a family and is moving up the ladder at our Wawa Convenience Store. She loves the job, and the training she got from Hardees made it very easy to work at this job as a grown up. She started at $7.25 per hour, and some of the managers can make over 40,000 dollars per year.

Anytime someone say ALL the people, it is not true. Many of them are very smart. I wonder what would happen if you tried to find out which famous people started work at a McDoonald's restaurant. Take Dave Thomas, who has passed away now, but he was a high school drop out and he ran 300 KFC restaurants for Colonel Sanders, and he eventually started Wendy's and everybody knows what a success they are. He got his GED diploma at age 66 or so, and this was a man who was a fantastic businessman!
Employable? Absolutely. Those who have worked for one of the biggest multi-national corporations in the world have a firm grasp of several very important business fundamentals: the importance of the PROCESS to delivering a consistent product, high volume retail, dealing with less than the brightest of the general population, cool heads under stress, and working for a boss who hates his/her job.

All very important stuff, kids.
Don't be so judgemental and narrow minded. When I was at nursing college I worked behind the counter at KFC, not because I was unemployable, but because I needed the extra money to pay my rent. Yes, it was a s**t job and bored me to tears but, it payed my rent. 80% of the people who worked there were either students or people taking second jobs because they were saving up to buy a property. One girl that I worked there with now manages a London branch and earns over £40,000 per year and, if she wanted another management position she would get one just like that. And remember the people that do these jobs probably don't want to, but at least they get off their backsides and don't rely on anybody else to sort them out financially. The only unemployable people in this country are those that don't want to work, and that is their choice. There are opportunities out there for everybody, but you have to go and look for them because nothing will ever fall in your lap.
my daughter worked at McD's when she left school. Then she worked for my partners own business, that caused too much strife, so now she works for Venture Photography and earns big bucks, so I'd say that she's been very employable..

However, I know what you mean. They get my order wrong almost on every occassion..
Actually in the UK the number one graduate employer is McDonalds - however it has to be said, that the people I encounter in my infrequent visits to McD's deserve to be put to death for their appalling attitude, service and their inability to put a burger together properly.

Worse it's pretty easy to get right - I know I used to do the job and that's why awful service in there does my head in.
