UK Nursing?
Answers:
You can do a diploma or degree course.
I started the diploma couse having already got a degree in psychology but had to give it up as i couldn't support myself financially (you get £6k a year from NHS bursary).
With the degree course, it works like any other (as far as I know) in that you apply for a student loan each year to support yourself.
I think your tuition fees are paid for you though check this.
Nursing is not a "course".it is a whole college degree and takes usually 3-4 years. It is difficult even when you are dedicated. You must be pretty smart, too, and have to have the guts to put up with the training. They try to weed you out of the program. It is not the most pleasant of life experiences, I can tell you that. I made it but would not choose to go through it again. I can always find a job no matter where I go. I was never into the career of it but have always been compassionate at the suffering of others. If I had to make that choice again, I would probably be a Photo Journalist and travle the world.
