Looking for suitable company car!?
Answers:
VW GOLF GTI (Mark 5 - the new shape) in RED or BLACK - you cant have that car any other colour, to do that is a crime!
To keep the tax bills low you'll probably be best with another diesel.
Another 320d would be a good choice, or any Audi diesel.
If the company won't stretch to that (or the tax is still too high), a Ford Focus or Mondeo diesel would be a great driver's car, if you can live with the slightly dull styling. There are plenty of features in the higher spec models. The latest Golf and Astra are not bad either, although the Golf isn't particularly sporty.
did u think of LANCIA , this car has many prizes
Have a similar problem and have done a lot of research which has led me to the SEAT range. Go for a Leon or an Altea (both based on the MK5 Golf) depending on your needs and you will get so much more car for less money than you were spending on the BMW. FR range is quick and well specced but still affordable. Keep an eye on the C02 rating for whatever you choose, 'cos it's this which ultimately decides what percentage of the car's value you're going to pay in tax. Skoda's are also highly regarded, but i needed at least some degree of style.
