What is the best portable Sat Nav system?
Thx
Answers:
Hello,
I bought a Tom Tom 1 and its the best thing since sliced bread, no really its very quick to setup, very user friendly, and 99% reliable. Its brillaint if you're going somewhere for the very first time and in that case it can take you almost door to door.
**The unit itself is small & light weight so it can be carried in a pocket.
**Tom Tom 1 has some very nice additional features too, like it can calculate alternative routes. Has downloadable updates, has a range of useful acessories.
**Its good value for money at the price in my opinion, if I had to give it a rating or score I'd give it 9 out of 10. I think you could pay ALOT more for another make and find it wasnt as good.
IR
my dads got a tom tom portable, that's pretty good.
Tom Tom for me! Its fab.
Garmin.
i prefer to use Garmin. easy and simple to understand
tomtom rocks!
however I will point out Ive never actually used a different brand of satnav (apart from a lexus built in satnav - which sucked btw) but why would I want to when tomtom is so damn good!
A map!
Seriously, why waste money on a stealable, expensive piece of kit when a map is cheaper and no less effective, if you know how to read it.
