How do i remove the door panel on a rover 420i please help!?

Best bet is to buy a haynes manual for your car - it will give you pictures and information about how to do all such things - I always get one for my cars.. Also has vital info such as oil types, tyre pressures etc etc
Presume you mean the inside, remove all furniture, by that i mean handle, all plastic trim, any thing with a screw in it,then take a small screwdriver, near the hinges , so if you slip any mark wont be seen, and just ease the panel off, it should be on clips
Got to ask , why do you need it off ?
with a crow bar
Remove any screws you can see (some may be behind plastic caps), then get a torch and pry back the edge of the door card, looking for the little plastic clips that hold the card on. You can lever these off with a special tool from a car parts shop (basically a flat plate with a slot or vee in it), or you can just give the panel a tug in the right spots to pull them free. If you break any, you can normally get new ones from a car parts place etc.
Basically, if the panel won't come off with a good tug around the edge, you've probably missed a screw somewhere that still need removing.
Watch out for how much slack you've got in any electrical cabling (speakers, window switches etc) - you don't want to pull them out by accident.
