sorry to be a harbinger of bad news but i reckon they will have it in little tiny writing somewhere that says you are not getting your money back no matter what. Its just the same for all companies these days , they get your cash and they become millionaires. while you get no service and are out of pocket.
Best thing to do is dont pay anyone anying, do it all yourself and, dont be making these CEO's, MD's any richer.
they are all robbin little tykes.
ps. i do hope im wrong and you get your money!.. maybe after a few letters and a few long phone calls though. It wont be ..oh yes misses/sir such and such well refund you right away!
Put your complaint in writing, and say that you expect a response within a week. If they don't get your car sold, or give your money back, contact Trading Standards for advice!

You know you can suie them for false advertisement,,, ring them up and tell them that's what your going to do if they don;t sort it out for you. YOU HAVE RIGHTS TO. Don't let them do that on you
My uncle got caught out by this type of scam, unfortunately just advertising your car with a phone number can expose you to these dodgy businesses that hook you in by stating they have buyers ready and lined up outside your door.
I'd report them to trading standards and also put your name on the telephone preference service for good measure http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/.
