I have just bought a 1995 fiat cinquecento sporting, it has steel wheels instead of alloys is this o.k ?

No, it's not OK. You'll soon hate it and, if you try to improve anything, everyone will know you're a chav.
As for the wheels, who cares?
steel is an alloy of iron silly!!
Not cool dude! Get yourself some BIG alloys and LOW profile tyres!
Hmmm thing is the sporting is so slow that people wont notice as they go flying past you anyway.
why on earth did you buy one of them
hahahahahahaha laughing hysterically, get a real car hahaa
Yeah! Fine! I used to have one and it had alloys but it's only an aesthetic thing, so if you that bothered, you could buy a set of alloys fairly cheap.probably off Ebay of froma good scrapyard if you have one near-by.
Ok Are you planing on resaleing this car in the next 5 minuts ? If so NO it is not cool You can get more money for it with aloys ill give you 250 for the car as a trade.
why oh why would ya go and do something stupid like that
I could fit that thing in my shoe! You will never make one of those cars cool, you need to put a pink steering wheel cover on it, pink seat covers, and pink dice hanging from the mirror. This will look extremely sad but that's ok cause it could then belong to one of these strange girlygirl things! If you were a guy before you bought that car though, you are not any more, no guy would ever buy such a pointless waste of scrap metal. That car can NEVER and I mean NEVER look cool!
What is it with all the chav sh*t? People were modding cars long before the media created chavs. If You don't mod, why does it piss You off that other people do? Get a life, and some decent wheels.
Yeah steel wheels are ok unless you want a bit of style
Do you mean have you been ripped off? As it's a sporting model I believe it should come with alloys, not steels.
It won't make any difference to how the car goes, but it isn't standard. All Sportings had alloys as standard.

If you regularly drive on pot-holed roads, steel wheels may be better as if they take a big impact they bend slightly, but are usually still drivable. Alloy wheels can fracture - although this is very rare.

However, it might be worth wondering what happened to the original alloys. If they were stolen, then OK, but if they were damaged, was the suspension damaged too?
Of course it is .. a wheel's a wheel. Buy some spinning ones .. it'l look much better
I just hope whoever had it before you han't skmped on maintenance too. Otherwise, I can't really see it mattreing too much unless you're concerned with the look of the thing.

If you do get the alloys, tyres aren't cheap. Only Pirelli makes tyres in the standard size, and they're about £50-60 each.
