Ford Mondeo remote locking?

Buggered receiver inside the car? Try also the contact points in the key fob and try opening locking unlocking with the key several times just in case the central locking is playing up
Had a similar problem with a Ford Focus. If I recall it turned out to be the central locking in the car. It's a garage job I think.
theyre dodgy. i work mondeo locked us out for an hour then decided to let us in. must have been the abuse we gave it
Ours did that and they couldn't work out what was wrong with it so we just used the key instead.
Then one day I happened to click the remote and it was working again, and I think it was because I had thrown the keys on a table the night before and it might have knocked something inside. I probably knocked something loose doing the same thing to begin with.
Not sure if I'd recommend you giving them a bang or dropping them on a table from a foot up as it may be something else, but you never know, it might work.

you probly need the remote re-programmed
to test central lock is simple
1. push bonnet switch a couple of times untill you hear horn beep
2. go around doors open horn should beep?
3. lock doors manualy horn should beep?
then blip horn should beep?
if non of the above work then its got to go to ford
But before you go off and give Ford your money try the following :-
Infrared transmitter.
NOTE: Infrared emitter can be seen at front edge of key.
Obtain all keys fitted with remote controls,
Fasten seat belts and close all doors
(NOTE: to disable acoustic warning signals.
Turn ignition switch from position I to position II at least 4 times within 6 seconds.)
Turn ignition switch to position I.
Programming mode activated for 10 seconds. Proceed as follows (from inside the car):
Point key at receiver (located in front door handles)
Press and hold lock or unlock button.
Wait for acoustic signal (indicates correct programming).
Repeat above procedure within 10 seconds to program remaining keys.
To exit programming mode:
Start engine.
Wait 10 seconds.
Radio frequency transmitter.
Obtain all keys fitted with remote control.
Turn ignition switch to position II 4 times within 3 seconds.
Switch ignition OFF. Remove key.
Programming mode activated for 20 seconds (led illuminated). Proceed as follows:
Press lock or unlock button.
Ensure clock led flashes (indicates correct programming)
Wait 2 seconds.
Repeat above procedure within 20 seconds to program remaining keys.
To exit programming mode:
Switch ignition ON.
Wait 20 seconds.
NOTE: A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed.
If this doesn't work then the answer is ford dealers after all but try this first have fun .
