With the new law now that children should have a child seat in a car does this count for taxis and limos?

Answers:
no it doesnt
I read that it does not apply to taxis.
Sadly, no.
taxis are exempt,as for limos, idont know
Taxi's are exempt but i don't know about limos sorry
It doesn't apply, however Addison Lee taxis in London have special seats which convert to child/booster seats in their cabs so I always use them. There is no way you can carry around a child seat with you once you've got out of the cab is there?
We've had child seat laws in Canada for several years now. I think it pertains to taxis and limos as well, (but not local buses). And if it doesn't, then I think the law should change.
No, as it is classed as a one off journey.
You should be able to get the answer from your local motor vehicle department. However I feel personally that it includes all vehicles either private or commercial. Just check with the motor vehicle department for your answer. If you can't get to them than check on line with the police in your area.Good Luck
