Would you consider playing Russian roulette?

no of course not but would consider driving at reckless speeds, when it is really the same thing,

Answers:
Very good point, Barry.

I get very annoyed when people moan about speed cameras - if you don't speed, you have nothing to worry about. SPEED KILLS.
never how dumb
Chuck Norris once played a game of Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun and won.
No to both.
no, prob dui'd 40 times though, oops, my bad, not anymore I grew up. I flew airplanes . Unprotected sex with Magic Johnson, etc
Ive played roulette in a Russian Casino. Does that count?
I once played Russian Roulette while driving at reckless speeds. It was kinda fun, but I couldn't really enjoy myself. My passengers wouldn't stop screaming.
No, but then again some of us are britter than others.
Depends. How many bullets does the gun hold, and how many bullets are there, and what do I stand to win? Usually revolvers you can use for Russian Roulette hold six or eight bullets, so even if you put one in, the risk of dying is relatively high - probably not worth any kind of benefit you might win. If you have a gun that holds ten million bullets and you put one in, then offer me a billion dollars if I win. that's worth thinking about. Driving recklessly is something in between; like putting one bullet out of 10,000 holes and saying if you win, you get there sooner and have more fun.
Quantify reckless speed !
28mph past a school at 15.30?
100mph on an empty motorway?
Even our (British) government has now changed it's tune and said speed is a significant factor in only 3% of accidents. Not the 20% they claimed when justifying those revenue collectors called speed cameras.
Pulling the plugs on yourself to self extinction?
Doing a great job on yourself.
Would I consider playing Russian Roulette? No.

Do I consider driving at reckless speeds to be the same as playing Russian Roulette? No. Why? because in Russian Roulette you have (for a 6 shot revolver) a 1 in 6 chance of dying. The reason people drive 'recklessly', what ever that means, is because they get away with it time and time again without ever having an accident. In fact most drivers will go through their entire life and never be involved in a serious crash. So the odds are much better.

What is a reckless speed? 1mph over the speed limit, 10mph over the limit, 20mph over the limit, 30mph over the limit?

Unless you qualify what you regard as reckless then this question is meaningless. I would consider 50mph on a motorway in heavy snow reckless, but 90mph on an empty motorway in clear weather not.
