Someone's been asking me why asians are bad driver?
Oops! No offense please I'm asian too but not a driver. ;-)

It's a common experience which I first met in Toronto and which seems to be true in Silicon Valley too. They call drunk driving DUI, we call asian driving DWA (driving while Asian). They aren't all bad, some of my Chinese friends are as good as anyone I ever met, including one 4'11" girl. But her parents shouldn't be allowed to drive anything propelled by an engine without its own eyes and ears (ox or horse driven only). You could call this racist, but I drive 30,000 miles a year just going to work, I see a lot of stuff.
Ok I know someone is going to think I'm being racist but honestly I'm not. This applies to older asains. My EX is Asain and I've been connected with Asian people since I was 9 years old, now 42. They just value life and politeness a bit different. Get to where I'm going no matter how/what etc.
Don't hate on Asians all race of people drive bad and if u drove you would drive different every time you get into the car.It's like why is it some people swim better than others, and how can u talk u don't even drive a car r you a back seat driver.
haha, that describes a lot of non-Asian drivers too !
What about Asian pilots?One 'Air India' one who flew a 747 in the 70's had to sit on a cushion to see out ! One day he hit the top of a pylon coming into Heathrow but landed safely, the standing joke at Heathrow was that if he hit the pylon he knew he was on course! This is absolutely true.( I know which I would rather be behind!)
maybe they have trouble reading the signs. that could cause a problem. I personaly feel theres just as many bad american drivers no offense i'm american

Are they bad drivers? I hadnt noticed. I'm far to busy avoiding the BMW idiots.maybe Asians who learn to drive in their own country have a less than satisfactory learning programme.
The have their music on too loud and can't hear what is going on around them, or they are too busy fiddling with their CDs etc.
