My renault 19 wont start,i think its teh starter motor but it wont jump start and the batterys fine?

hi if you locate the starter motor, and give it a tap with a hammer/spanner. It should start. but make sure you get it checked out. If it is needing replaced. best get a one from the breakers yard
can you bump start it? try tapping the starter while someone tries to start it with the key.
Hey man when the starter goes out.that means it won't start. Good lord man.!
